The Deathday Letter

Hey there readers!!! I just finished a book called The Deathday Letter. This book is about a 15 year old boy named Ollie who is going to die. The author wrote in a very intersting way, making the character actually seem like a teenager. During the story, Ollie has a bucket list and him and his two best friends Shane and Ronnie do them together. They do crazy things and Ollie messes things up between Ronnie and himself. He tries to make things up and when he succeeds, he dies a terrible death. The edning is really unexpected and it made me cry. I'm not much of a teary person so it was defenitly touching. I would defenitly recommend this book to anyone who likes to read about the life of an average teenage boy and all the stupid mistakes he made on his last day of life. Enjoy!!!

Ouran High School Host Club show

Ok, what I said before may not be all true. I won't only be talking about books, maybe movies, contests (when i find them), and pretty much anything if it talks about the arts. Ok, for you anime fans, last night I watched a show called Ouran High School Host Club. It's so funny!!!!!!!!!!!!! It talks about a girl who was misinterpreted as a boy by the way she dressed. She accidentally broke a vase that cost so much that she couldn't pay it back so they invited her to their club for only boys. But then they find out that she is a girl, and they promise to keep her secret, but the president of the club falls in love with her. Its a story about her and the troubles and fun times the host club have with her. The big difference between them all is that the girl is a commoner to the boys in the Host Club. Everyone esle is extreemly rich. So you can find it on youtube, or you can also google it. Hope you enjoy it!!!

The Beginning of the Kane series

Hey there!!! In Cap's Reading Corner, I will be talking about books that many of you may not have heard of or are reading. I will give my opinion of the book, so think of it as a review. Actually, techniquely, it is a review. Anyways, I just finished reading a book called The Red Pyramid. It talks about two sibilings, who have nothing in common with each other, and their fight to keep choas out of the world. In this story, there is a lot of history on Egyptian gods, which makes it only more interesting. The kids find out that they are actually magicians and that many want to kill them because they have a big secret, which I am not going to tell you. An evil god named Set (they all have weird or intersting names) wants to put a large amount of choas into the world, but its not all his fault. Read the book and find out why ;-) . Anyways, The Red Pyramid, is a fascinating story which has a different topic from everything else that i have read. It has no vampires or werewolves. It does have magic but its Egyptian magic. This is one of the best books I've read all year (except for one or two) and I would give it a 4 out of 5. I would defenitly recommend this book who are interested in magic or Egypt, because even though its a fantasy book, every fact in there is real. Enjoy!
